How Most Believers Forfeit Entering Their Inheritance: God’s Rest

Our spirit/soul operate in different dimensions that aren’t visible to the natural eye. There are locations designated for the good and evil works of God. Refer to Daniel Duval’s “Higher Dimensions Parallel Dimensions & the Spirit Realm” for expansion.

Yeshua is the pathway to the Holy Mountain of the Father. Yeshua carries the Spirit of the Lord which contains wisdom, understanding, counsel, might, knowledge and the fear of the Lord.

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6-7 KJV

Way (Hebrew Translations) = Path/Manner/Course = Word

The only way to enter God’s rest, and dwell in his Holy Mountain, is to speak and think Living Water, which is Yeshua.

Spirit (Greek translation)- pneuma: breath

God gave us his spirit through Yeshua in order for our way of speaking and thinking to be entirely renewed by the Spirit of God. God has a spirit of judgment. In order to be renewed, one would have to subdue their understanding given by the elemental spirits assigned at birth and yield to the grace of God. When we were “children” we were slaves to the elemental spirits of the universe (Galatians 4 CJB). “So we also, when we were minors, were kept like slaves under the elementary teachings of a system of external observations and regulations.” (Galatians 4 AMPC).

As slaves to the elemental spirits, one is naturally a child of wrath. The wrath of God is expressed through his sword and fire (which can be seen in the health of our countenance and is reflected in our inner parts.) All parts of our body are directly connected to God. “Hope in God, For I shall yet praise him, Who is the health of my countenance.”(Psalm 43:5 KJV). All of God’s ways are judgment  (Deuteronomy 32:4 KJV) and they’re indiscernible to the carnal eye (John 3:8 KJV).

When one’s soul isn’t nourished, they remain attached to their old nature. The old nature can’t decipher the meat (greater revelation) of the word. This is why Paul said “I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it… For ye are yet carnal.” (1 Corinthians 3 KJV) Our conversation reveals our location in the unseen realms and the life/death of our soul and can put/keep one in bondage or elevate them (by God’s grace).

The soul that sinneth, it shall die (Ezekiel 18:20 KJV). Due to our great father Adam, the soul is naturally born into iniquity which is death. Before anyone inherits Yeshua, their soul needs reviving. “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins.” (Ephesians 2:1 KJV). It’s also good to note that while dying is used interchangeably between physical and spiritual, much of the time the Word of God speaks on the death of the soul that translates to a physical death immediately or later.

Take a look at Ephesians 2:2-3 KJV:

“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lust of our flesh… and were by nature the children of wrath”

Reminder:

Way (Hebrew trans.) = Path/Manner/Course= Word

Our words determine our location. The old nature subjects one to being located in graves, mountains, and other imprisonments of darkness. The course of this world is a way of speaking and it leads to death and soul/spiritual prisons. This means one can be walking around with parts of their soul in a grave. (Hosea 13:14 KJV) “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” (Proverbs 14:12 KJV) It’s important to grasp that there are only 2 ways of speaking, life (Yeshua) or death. The way of life guarantees liberty while the way of death keeps one locked in (literal) prisons of darkness.

For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. (Romans 8:6-8 KJV)

The children of the promise (for rest), the seed of Abraham, Yeshua, are children of the spirit. “That is, they which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of God: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.” (Romans 9:8 KJV) When God speaks of the remnant of Israel, he is speaking to those who have mortified the members of their flesh. “The remnant of Israel shall not do iniquity, nor speak lies; neither shall a deceitful tongue be found in their mouth; for they shall feed and lie down, and none shall make them afraid.” (Zephaniah 3:13 KJV)

Many believers are held captive due to obeying spirits of death. All of our thoughts are a product of God’s works which were created for good or evil. “I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things”(Isaiah 45:7 KJV). Consider: For, lo, he that formeth the mountains, and createth the wind, and declareth unto man what is his thought… The LORD, The God of hosts, is his name. (Amos 4:13 KJV) Our thoughts are declared by God’s works. As children of God, we were created for good works. (Ephesians 2:10 KJV)

Ecclesiasticus 17 on the Creation of Man:

“They received the use of the five operations of the Lord, and in the sixth place he imparted them understanding, and in the seventh speech, an interpreter of the cogitations thereof. Counsel, and a tongue, and eyes, ears, and a heart, gave he them to understand. Withal he filled them with the knowledge of understanding, and showed them good and evil. He set his eye upon their hearts, that he might show them the greatness of his works. He gave them to glory in his marvelous acts for ever, that they might declare his works with understanding. And the elect shall praise his holy name. He made an everlasting covenant with them and showed them his judgments… Every man from his youth is given to evil; neither could they make to themselves fleshy hearts for stony.”

The previous is also confirmed in the Testament of Naptali, the Eight Son of Jacob and Bilhah. 2:4-9

Evaluate:

God declares our thoughts.

The thought of foolishness is sin.

There are only 2 ways of thinking (life or death).

Humans are vessels designed to understand and judge by his law.

This means, there is no self-autonomy. God is fully in control of the body at all times through his works. “O Lord, I know the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.” (Jeremiah 10:23 KJV) “The preparations of the heart in man, And the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.” (Proverbs 16:1) “Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; Our lips are our own: who is lord over us?” (Psalm 12:4 KJV) “For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.” (Ecclesiastes 12:14 KJV) “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do his good pleasure.” (Philippians 2:13 KJV). “Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear.” (Psalm 10:17 KJV)

This means daily we are either choosing God (Yeshua) or death, no in between. Glory to God for bestowing so much mercy and grace on us.

God’s rest and inheritance is given after one begins to execute judgment righteously through wisdom. “Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the Lord thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:” (Deuteronomy 7:12 KJV)

We were given the Holy Spirit to judge righteously. Yeshua is the way to judge. Judging righteously involves not judging after the sight of the eyes. (Isaiah 11:3 KJV) When we were children, we observed the world through what we saw physically, but God wants us to judge supernaturally. This is also why God says we’re not to speak evil of our brother. “He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.” (James 4:11 KJV) A person’s actions are dictated by their knowledge of God, and the measure of the gift of God, his grace, that he’s given to them. The key is to remember that there’s no self-autonomy, but his design for humans is so impeccable and sharp that our movements happen extremely fast. I can’t write a word if God didn’t declare it.

“And as there is a division between light and darkness, between seeing and hearing, so also is there a division between man and man, and between woman and woman; and it is not to be said that the one is like the other either in face or in mind.” The Testament of Naphtali, The Eighth son of Jacob and Bilhah 2:7-8 We’re all individual creations of God, expressing God’s works at the same time… let’s take that in :O.

Final Topic:

A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish. Proverbs 19:9 KJV

There is much emphasis on not speaking evil, lies, or falsely witnessing against our neighbors. The old nature is bound to falsely witnessing. Our thoughts consistently give witness to our reality.

Witness – a person who sees an event

Event – a thing that happens

Judgment – the ability to make considered decisions or come to sensible conclusions; a misfortune or calamity viewed as a divine punishment.

One cannot perceive reality correctly if it isn’t through God’s judgments. Many people are snared into careers and relationships due to lack of understanding.

The Organization of Life:

Works – our actions, thoughts, movements, every aspect of our being directed by God

Witnessing – Us being a witness of those thoughts (subconsciously)

Judgment – our decisions based on our understanding of God’s works

Example:

Work- *belly makes a noise*

Witness- One witnesses the sound and feeling of the belly

Judgment (options)-

  1. They decide to eat based on assuming/feeling/thinking they may be hungry.
  2. They realize an entity is pushing them to eat.

Both options can be true. They could be approaching hunger, but a spirit also may be pushing them to eat. That spirit could also be related to insatiable hunger (seated in the belly) and cause them to overeat. Overeating + following insatiability both lead to judgment.

Example 2 (Scenario):

A person keeps interrupting one’s sentence. The person they’re speaking to becomes irritated due to the person irritating their sentences

Works involved:

  • Speaking, thinking, understanding
  • The spirit working through the one interrupting the other’s sentences
  • The spirit becoming irritated due to being interrupted

Witness/Judgment:

  1. The person being interrupted can agree with voices (elemental spirits) giving a false external perspective leading to false witnessing (judgment):
    1. The person is impatient and mean
    2. The person only wants to hear their own opinion
    3. The person is self-centered
  2. Spiritual view
    1. The person has a spirit of wrath working through them
    2. The person is not aware that a spirit is making them interrupt other’s sentences

There’s many nuances to judgment for God has many works.

Conclusion:

God wants his people to discern reality through his supernatural judgments which lead to peace rather than being subject to a carnal understanding that leads to wrath (death). The whole duty of man is to serve God. Many people forfeit their inheritance by believing there’s another life outside of God, but it is only death. (John 14:10 KJV) (Ecclesiasticus 5:3 KJVAAE) Since we’re designed to obey, then we’re always obeying a work (for good or evil), unconsciously. If obeying the conscience leads to sin, then one is following the one who has power over death. Yeshua died to purge our conscience from dead works. (Hebrews 9:14 KJV) Yielding to God’s good works is a product of wisdom. (Ecclesiasticus 5:3 KJVAAE) The rest promised for the covenant is shown to those who believe (Hebrews 4:6 KJV) that God’s works are fully in control of them at all times. (Psalm 25:14 KJV)

Healing Activity:

  1. Affirm that all of your thoughts come from God’s works.
  2. Ask where each thought is coming from. (2 Corinthians 10:5)
  3. Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established. (Proverbs 4:26 KJV)
